Friction Lab
The lab to find the coefficient of friction between two sliding objects is attached.
Be sure to use good lab procedures and avoid parallax. The lab report is due Tuesday February 16, 2016.

Egg Drop Project time!
Requirements for the Egg Carrier are attached.
Students are to construct and test an "Egg Carrier" that is to safely protect an egg when dropped from the North Stairwell in the high School. Approximately 10 Meters. More information is on the attached link.
BE SURE TO PRACTICE dropping your device with Mr. Groh at some point before Drop Day.

Physics Semester 1 Exam Review 2015
A review worksheet for the semester I exam is attached.
We will be working on this in class but a few have asked for it to work on over the Holiday break.
Dr. Groh will be visiting us on Tuesday, December 15th. He will be talking to us about Nuclear Physics and some of its applications. Please be sure to listen intently and TAKE NOTES on his presentation as there will be a quiz on the material on Wednesday the 16th.

RUBE GOLDBERG PROJECT
The Rube Project is a project where the students get a chance to describe the energy forms and describe some everyday examples of energy transfers between forms of energy. Attached is the description the Rube Goldberg Project.
Projects will be presented during class on Thursday, December 17 and Friday, December 18, 2015.
